Whether you are exploring the great outdoors for several weeks or your child wants to sleep outside for the night, camping tents are a thing of beauty. These tents are small, tightly compact, yet can still protect you from the outside elements. But what kind of tent should you go for? There are plenty of different options out there, you just need to settle on what works best for your particular needs.
Camping Tent Sizes
Do you plan on camping with a group of people? Maybe you need a tent a bit larger then the standard two or three person tent. There are tents that can range from four to over seven, so there is always a tent that fits your size requirements.
Camping Tent Design
Design is something you should take into consideration as well. General camping in camp grounds or at music festivals are fine with the standard dome tent. However, if you are in environments where there is less shelter and possibly more wind or rain, cut, aerodynamic tents are better off as these tents do not absorb as much wind, allowing the tent to remain in one piece. These can also be better in cold weather locations.
